I caught the brewing bug pretty bad about two years ago. Then life happened and before I new it six months had gone by without me brewing! So today I decided to buy two mini mash kits as an easy way to renew my passion. Any new knowledge or cool equipment I should be aware of before I start brewing again?

I don't think so,unless you look at the high end stuff. New beer kits though. They all seem to have the white house beers in kit form now.
