What happened to the "related threads" at the bottom?

There used to be five or so suggested threads at the bottom of the screen that were related to the thread you were currently reading. They've been gone for a while. I always found that really helpful when researching a topic or question. Why are they gone?

I'm on a smartphone, but just on a browser; I don't believe I have a Homebrewtalk app if that makes a difference.

Ironically I am looking at "related discussions" in the HBT-branded Tapatalk app right now. They've been present since the update about a week or so back.
I asked about this in the appropriate forum but it has been ignored...
