What gauge wire in Stc-1000 and converted mini frig?

Just as the topic states, I want to run a mini refrigerator to control fermentation with the temp regulated via the STC-1000 . It's only big enough to hold a single 6gal carboy. The freezer is still connected within but I hope to disable it prior to use. Thank you!

I used 14 gauge wire, simply because I made my STC-1000's in project boxes that can have other uses than only fermenters. I wanted to have the wiring fully capable of the 10 Amps that the STC-1000 can switch. I don't have to think about the wiring if I plug in a slightly larger heater or a different freezer.
