I found someone that wanted me to make them an offer on all of this. What else would I need and how much would you give for it?

I can't say how much you should offer becuase that list has far more things than I have used for brewing. I would recommend trying out some brewing computer software like beersmith or promash if you have not already done so.

Also, what are you planning on using for your fermentation vessel? The 5 gallon carboys will not successfully contain 5 gallons of beer during primary fermentation. Do you laready have some brewing buckets?

What are you using to heat this wort?

Are you planning on going extract or all grain with this system? If it's extract, at first glance, you should have almost everything to get started. Although I would buy a digital thermometer. I've broken PLENTY of floating ones before I bought a digital with a long probe. If it's all grain you're looking for, you're missing a lot.

I'd give around $600 for all that. That's about what I paid for my craigslist pile of brewing equipment.

My offer would depend on the sellers situation. I would probably start in the $400-$500 neighborhood. I don't see a heat source (turkey fryer) for boiling, nor do I see a mash tun (if your planing on going AG).

EDIT: Sorry forgot to "Welcome "you. Just a heads up because I see your new; this is not a forum that tolerates the discussion of distilling. The mods will deal with any improprieties swiftly!

Dang, I'm just down the road- why can't I find someone like that.

I'm guessing the kegs alone are about 180-220 (seems to be about 40/keg going price locally) carboys probably 40 each...you have a lot of stuff there with some value. Definitely consider seller's situation..

I don't already have the buckets, but that's a cheap fix. I will be starting with extract, and I do already have a turkey fryer. Thanks for the quick responses. I'm sure others will point out more things as the day goes on.

I would highly recommend a turkey fryer. With a keggle for a brew pot you can do full 5- 10 gallon boils which in my mind is a big plus, brew outside which has many advantages, and get up to boiling very rapidly.

Stealing beef can get you strung up in some parts of this country! :)

The price I'd offer would depend on the condition - A lot of that stuff, especially near the bottom where you list a "Keg-A-Rator" and a fridge/freezer could be worth quite a lot, or not very much at all.
