What do I need to start partial mashing

I want to brew the spotted cow clone from northern brewer but have only done an extract batch. How much harder is PM brewing compared to extract brewing? And what would I need to buy in order to partial mash. All I have is a 5 g kettle for extract.
 
A grain bag. With a 5 gal pot I was able to mash about 5 lb grain. Mash and dump the runnings into a different pot. Subtract that first runoff volume from a boil volume of 4.5 gallons to get your sparge volume. Combine both runnings and boil. Top off in your fermentor.
