Probably 11 or 12, depending on if we decide to grab food before or after. Thinking about hitting the new Edmunds Oast brewery location for lunch. Normally I'd do Lewis BBQ, but I'm going there in a few weeks. Have heard very good things about the cuban sandwich at Edmunds.

Well that certainly was the most cake I’ve ever drank in one day. Overall not stoked on this year’s variants fresh, but the release was perfect. Reserve was ******* fantastic. This year’s port...uh ya.

I honestly was shocked at just how much barrel was in these beers. A bit too much for me. Gonna dig a hole in the back yard and bury these guys for the next 5 years.

Pretty much agree. Port was very slick and needs to sit. I'm hoping bottles are a little more carbed than the kegs on port. Scotch and willett were good but could use 6 months, AB was a little sweet for me (also could probably use time). Reserva was insanely good, and coco bourbon was drinking pretty good as well.

I haven't been to a release in quite a while, but Coconaughty last year was the best beer that Westbrook has put out in a while, so I might hit this on Saturday if any TB peeps are thinking about making the trek down (wuntrikpony? NClambicguy? others?). Westbrook apparently replied to some comment asking about distro with something like "we'll see how much is left after Saturday" so I'm guessing they made a decent quantity and it won't require being there at the ass crack of dawn to get or anything.

There was BA 4th Anniversary, which was released in Summer of 2015 under that name. Then last summer they released a new version called "BA 4th Anniversary - Coconaughty Edition" where they cranked up the adjuncts and did the Fremont double-dip wax deal with white wax. So this is just another version of that, presumably, in some different barrels.

No idea to what extent the base (non-adjuncted) stout is the same for each, although I'd assume it's basically the same as the ABVs are all identical.

My bad on the lack of response. I was up in Franklin, NC for a wedding. Had a buddy that was able to get me some sets though which was nice. Hoping the beer is awesome.
