Hi All,

I have a quick question about your weldless brew kettle fittings.

I just installed a sight glass/thermometer combo from BobbyM and a ball valve from Bargain Fittings.

Do you take them apart to clean after each brew day? Or do you just clean in place? Not a big deal since your boiling for 60+ minutes anyway?

Thanks

Chris

I've noticed crud in my sight glass after a brew, so I'll clean it with a brush periodically. The ball valve and thermometer gets CIP. I remove the thermometer after 3 or 4 brews just to check and clean as necessary, but the CIP seems to work fine.
