Welding the fitting on the inside of the keg?

Greetings. I have been poking around the forum looking at Keggle creations and I wanted to ask a question that I didn't really find an answer to. Is it common for someone to just weld the outside of the keg where the fitting meets the keg and just skip over trying to get a torch down inside the keg and weld the inside?

Right on. Just wanted to clarify that most don't actually weld the inside.
