Hi all...Just a quick question for my already goofed problem...I have a friend coming in from Boise next week and I wanted to have a new batch on tap and ready for consumption when he arrived...Problem is this, I had about a gallon of Cali Pale on tap and there was about a gallon left, but I wanted to have my new Porter up and ready to be consumed when he arrived, so I emptied the Cali into 2 growlers...unfortunatley I did not have a counterflow and did not research the racking cane procedure and just filled from the tap directly...Foaming did occur and I was wondering will this be flat when he arrives on the 21 of September?...BTW this was my best beer yet and i wanted him to experience this Cali batch but im afraid it will now be flat and wont be recieved well...Let me know your thoughts and if you have any fixes...Thanks again...

Probably okay as long as you don't open it until you're ready to pour it. Once it's open it'll go flat quickly, so drink up!

yea, I agree with Rick. Leave it sealed till you are ready to drink it. Every time you open it you will loose some carbonation. But if the beer is honestly good, it will still be good flat! Its all about the taste my man! (carbed is always better of course)
