Wanting to start AG

But I dont know what I need. I was hoping there would be a sticky in here, but there isnt.

Right now I have a basic setup, 24qt SS pot, 6.5 and 5 gal carboy, bottling bucket, plastic bucket/fermenter. Like I said basic.

What do I need to do all grain? And, what exacty is mashing?

Convert a cooler to an MLT (seach FlyGuy's thread about the conversion), and get a kettle large enough to do full boils and you're all set. Although the first 10 or so AG's that I did were done in a 22 qt. pot. It's doable, just kind of a PITA.
