If you've never used a floor corker, man, that is something magical. Get you a Portuguese corker and go to the next level.


I've got one.
Got it in a deal where I bought out another homebrewer, it had likely only been used a hand full of times.
They are nice.
I'm glad that I never had to do it the hard way, I use it to put in the corks on Belgian bottles.
 
If you go to ritebrew, you can get a new floor corker for under $50. I purchased one. Great tool at a good price. Only issue is the storage space. Even disassembled, it's not small.
