Volume of co2?

How much in a red ale? Cant find the volume, priming as we speak but dont know how many volumes of co2 it has in order to find out how much priming sugar to add. Its a 5 gallon batch. Thanks in advance.. Im guessing right around 2.6 volumes but its just a guess.
