Might as well get this started over here in case any of you Southeast/Hampton Roads Virginians (or Northeast North Carolinians for that matter) find your way here without knowing about us.
We are a tasting group that meets up once a month at various breweries and bars around Hampton Roads to do bottles shares, due to asinine Virginia laws this has to be done when the brewery/bar is closed to the public which means we are stuck with Sundays being our primary meet days. Most events start at 1pm and last till around 5pm. We are still fairly new so our turnout is spotty, but we average around 12 but have seen 30+ before (at a Mekong Meetup in Richmond).
Our next event is at Smartmouth Brewery, Sunday, October 13th @ 1pm. All we ask is you bring a couple bottles (doesn't have to be rare) and a snack. Check us out on Facebook!
