Hey all. Don't want to bring up a whole debate on aluminum pots or nothing...

So I got a new aluminum pot, boiled water in it for a little over 30 minutes. There doesn't seem to be much of a passive oxide layer in it, it's very pale to non-existant. Was gonna brew up a batch in it tomorrow...should I wait and re-do the water boil for longer, or do you think I'll be fine?

Thanks!
