Using flip top bottles for the first time

I must say. So far I like them more than 12oz bottles with caps. It was nice to fill and seal right away. Plus they're 16oz so I am already doing less bottles.

I've been keeping my eyes out for some of those. Where did you get them and what did you pay?

I would rather just do the work than pay a ton of money for them, but I am always searching craigs list

Have you had any issues sanitizing them? I just bottled with some the other day and my sanitizer took the finish off of the metal parts on the swing cap. Other than that they work great. I'm using these:

Ugh, 12 ounce bottles. 22 ounce or forget it. I usually use a liter fliptop.

I just bought some from my lhbs. 12-16oz EZ Cap amber bottles for $28. Seemed about the going rate and the store is only 10 miles from my house.

I used to use both. Now I fill a keg, and maybe a couple 16oz bottles with carbdrops if I end up with a larger than 5gal batch.
