Hey guys, I had a random question.

I have a buono vino mini jet wine filter that I use for my wine. I am getting into kegging my beer soon and wanted to filter out my beer, pre-kegging. Now, I know some people use the cartrige filters. But I wonder, has anyone tried to use the mini jet?

The corse filters (#1's) a generally good for about 5 microns, and the mid (#2's) are good for about 1-3 microns. At least I think. Trying to do this from memory.

Looking for thoughts on the idea.

Thanks!

It'd be a lot cheaper to just use gelatin. Personally, if I was going to use a buono vino filter (I have a super jet), I would just use it to pump the beer through a cartrige filter. They're much cheaper than the mini jet filters and less danger of leaking and oxidation.
