Can you use a regulator used for Nitrogen on a CO2 tank? Or a CO2 regulator on a helium tank?

I have not tried this but I don't think that you can. If I remember correctly the tank has a pin pattern that only allows the correct valve for the type of gas that the tank is certified for. The only way to use that valve with that type of tank would bento have it filled with the wrong type of gas. I am not positive on this but I know medical o2 tanks are set up this way.
The reg is {most likely} the same, however, you'll need to change out the stem/buy an adapter (CGA 580-CGA 320) and probably change the gauge.
