I have a corny keg that leaks. I tried banging the rim back into shape with no luck. What is everyone using their kegs for? I don't secondary for the most part and have a 5 gallon fermenter for when I do. Any ideas for a use for this thing?

Yea. Flipped the lid as well.. I may putz with it some more to see if I can get it to seal.. Nothing a little english can help haha.

I guess I don't understand. Did you just get this keg?

I have recently started using the lube on my keg seals. I must say what a difference.

Did you put some gas to it or just fill it with liquid and tip it over to see. Try putting some liquid in there with the keg lube and then put a small amount of gas on it.

Have you figured out exactly where the leak is? I have had some that had leak from the bottom. AFIK no "reasonable" way to fix that. Easy way to test is to pressurize and submerge in tub or cooler of water.

The leak is coming right from the lid. I pin pointed about 3 different spots as to where the leak was coming from. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow and see if i can fix it.

+1.060 to the keg lube. Use it sparingly if you can.

Can you swap the lid with another keg to see if the leak follows the lid?
