URGENT QUESTION---Fruit Flavor Extract

I am about to bottle a DFH Aprihop clone.

I have some Apricot Extract...I just did a finger taste and it has a pretty bitter taste. THat Apricot taste is there, just a lot of bitter. Can it of gone bad??

I really hope not...

Also, newb question, flavoring extract does not mess with the sugar you add for carbing right?

It does not mess with your priming. It's concentrated, so the tart apricot flavor comes through very bitter in concentrated form.
