interesting...

It's odd because the website says "Shelf Life - 3 years" but the bottle says "best if used before 2021" I think or 2012, either way that is longer than 3 years :cross:

Haven't tried it yet, was gonna last night with the wife but decided to hold off. A little over 1 1/2 pint bottles @ %8 I probably wouldn't be able to drink....and it is really not a quaffing beer from what I understand.

I have tried it and it is very similar to Leifman's Gluhkriek. A Flemish brown with cherries and spices added. I much prefer it at room temp as opposed to heated or chilled. I have an 11 year old bottle of Quelque Chose from it's first year of release, 1996. Cool bottling back then, the entire bottle wrapped in a black foil.

Wow, this was definitely a surprise. The cherry is very well showcased in this pretty much flat brew. A good level of sourness, but not quite stretching as far as some Lambics for sure. Pretty color, a little musty. We tried it both on the rocks and heated as suggested and we liked it both ways. Hot I served it with whipped cream hehe, it was like a cherry dessert. Funny thing, Naked is that we didn't try it at room temp heh. I probably should have in hindsight...well maybe next time. I could see this warmed up on a cold winter day would be nice. If you like sour and fruit then give this a whirl.

Saw it at liquormart for $8.99 a bottle, I may have to try this sometime.

Wow that is a really good price for a single 1 pt. 9 oz. bottle. We paid the equivalent of that per bottle in a case price. The local bars sell it for $20 a bottle.
