I was having trouble getting oxyclean residue out of my carboy. I would always see little white crystals inside and mostly on the bottom of my carboy that would be a giant pain to scrub. I tried white vinegar with an equal amount water and was amazed. It worked the best in a carboy cleaner with a pump but I have found it to work if you just swish it around every
30 mins or so for a few hours. Now also for people who have marked up your carboy with brush metal, vinegar rinse takes care of it all. I Have very mineral rich and alkaline well water, so maybe lots of you don't get this problem.

I have to do the same thing if I let oxi sit for too long. I have used White vinegar, Acid 5, Star San, and Phos acid. Oh and Hydrochloric acid.

All did a great job removing the deposits with a short soak.
