Tri Clover, (TC, Tri Clamp) Recirculation Arm

This is by no means meant to be 100% sanitary, but I thought the 1/2" triclover stuff would make a nice addition. Easy to disassemble and clean and allows for other options later if desired.

Where did you get the tri-clamp recirculation arm? I have a system this would work well in and would like to duplicate what you have.

Looks good, is this for a mlt? I really like having a silicon tube coiled around the top, as it is able to meet the top of the grain bed much easier. For my whirlpool arm on my bk I have a barbed elbow that I fill through. Then when I whirlpool I stick a short piece of tubing on it so that it is below the wort line. Either way i would suggest putting a ball valve on the outside to prevent a back flow scenario.

This is something that I fabricated myself, it was not bought, I purge welded a 1/2" ferrule on a piece of tubing and then used a tubing bender to get the bend that I wanted. And for you, Spellman, everyone definitely has suggestions, because we all believe our systems are quite possibly the best, but trust me I've already added a ball valve to this not shortly after I made this post way back when

This is slick. Is TC used for no other reason than ease of removal?

Basically, yes Mr. Hello. I have thoughts of fabbing up a sparge arm that will attach to the fitting also. My thoughts were that having the tri clover makes it very easy for swapping out different fittings during the brew day. I love welding, so I welded the 1/2 inch bulk head in permanently but you could also easily build something similar with weldless fittings.

I don't have the ability to weld. How much would you charge to fabricate one of these up for me? I have a keggle with a 1/2" TC fitting welded in it. It sticks into the keggle about as far as your welded coupling. So I imagine the measurements would be about the same.

If I still had access to the equipment, I would. I left my old job where I had plenty of down time to play with the tig welder and tubing bender and such, sorry. Maybe fish around, I'm sure there's someone on HBT that could hook you up
