Hello,

I apologize if this message was seen earlier, I'm new to forums.

As the title suggests, I’m looking to trade a pen as part of a college class project. The assignment requires me to trade items, and yes, this is actually graded. I’m open to trading for almost anything of equal value that feels appropriate.

This particular pen is a piece of merchandise from 'Larry's Brewing Supply,' a brewing company that shut down about ten years ago. I received it from one of my professors, who told me it’s quite rare. It’s a Wrap Contour Pen with black ink, and given its history, it might be of interest to collectors or anyone who appreciates brewery memorabilia.

I’m specifically looking for physical, tangible items, something I can use or potentially trade further. I’d prefer to conduct the trade via shipping rather than meeting in person. If you have something in mind, drop a comment or message me with your trade offer.

I’ll be accepting offers until Tuesday, May 2nd. Also, since this is an online forum, I’d love suggestions on safe ways to handle the trade process. Let me know if you have experience with trades like this!

You've got me really intrigued...Can you tell us the aim of this project? If I had spare cash and wasn't in Canada, I'd be seriously trying to come up with something to trade.... I have a modest collection of pens, matchbooks, ashtrays, notepads etc. from long defunct businesses.. I also collect lighters and other smoking paraphernalia with my favourites being lighters and ashtrays with doctors, hospitals and medical facilities names and logos. :p
Is this a social experiment or an ecomomic one? ...Behavioural sciences? I'm really curious.

I'm really happy you're interested, and I'd love to tell you all about it!

I’m currently in a negotiation class where my project is to complete at least five trades with others. This idea is inspired by the famous Red Paper Clip story, where someone started with a tiny red paper clip and, through a series of trades over the course of a year, ultimately ended up with a house! All without spending a single dollar. I started my journey with a small binder clip, trading it for a fox key charm, then a Shibuya button pin, followed by a high-quality eraser. My latest trade brought me to this pen. Now, I have just one trade left to complete the challenge!

That's interesting that you collected a lot of memorabilia of defected companies, that’s really amazing! Out of curiosity, what do you think is a fair trade for the pen?

I’m open to trading just about anything, and I’m even covering the shipping costs. The only catch is the item must be something I feel is worth the exchange. If you’ve got something intriguing, let’s make a deal! 😄

Here are the pictures, I hope this is helpful

I still have a pen available and need to swap it for another item, big or small to complete a graded project. If you have anything you'd be willing to trade (even something simple like a sticker, a keychain, or a any spare item you don’t need), I'd really appreciate it. I'll cover shipping to make it easy as stated before. If you’re able to help a student out, I’d truly appreciate it.

I have a pack of playing cards, unopened, that I will trade for your pen if it is still available.
