Some of those boxes look like they have been around the block a bit. I wonder often what the average life span is for an HBT driven cardboard box.

A tale of a HBT trade box:

I received both of these boxes in trades, the first from @val214, the second from @bigmike99 .

The bigger box was in better shape than the smaller, but the smaller perfectly fit the cardboard bottle shipper inside. So I stuck one inside the other, put peanuts in between them and shipped to @thatjonguy . He returned my beer in same box.

Re packed same box, shipped to @medicmang . He returned my beer in, you guessed it: the same box.

That box is currently sitting on @geoffey 's porch in MN. Probably close to retirement, but who knows.

I think these boxes get a good ride. And excellent reuse.

That fragile tape looks like it spent some time with me as well.

I'm a big fan of box in a box in a box. Can't be too careful.

The outer box looked so beat up the FedEx guy asked me what was in it. I used my standard excuse (glassware) and he almost didn't accept until I told him how it was packed.

I'm gonna have to step my label game up...

I have mine figured out. Any future label work going on my bottles will be done in crayon by my daughter. Keeps it personal. I'll write in what it is and let her color on it.
Its how I did my business cards for years until the Company started supplying them. Damn killjoys.
