I must admit. The nugget nectar is old. They were the last two bottles on the shelf and reduced in price. I just couldn't pass em up. I know IPAs are better fresh and all that, but it's not like they turn into hydrochloric acid or anything. I think I owe him a few fresh bottles next year when its released.

You'll probably want to wait till about February to start looking for it. I think that's when they release it.

It's actually an imperial amber ... but it does certainly drink like a DIPA!

Nugget Nectar releases at the end of January/beginning of February. The bottles are usually dated too so you can tell if a store is trying to pawn last years supply as fresh.

Did a monster line up of jackie o's wilds this weekend. Didn't take notes or anything, but I think the oud bruin was one of the better ones.
