Does anyone know a supplier that sells a draft tower extension for a 2.5 in tower? I scored a free Haier kegerator and it has a 1 tap tower but there's room for 2, maybe 3 kegs in there. I've seen extensions for 3 in towers but not much luck with the 2.5 in. I would prefer to not have to buy a whole new tower if possible.

FWIW I was looking at the tower extension for an upgrade,I thought they looked a little hokie and was a little pricy for what it was.I ended up buying a two tap tower

I tried finding one last year for the 2.5 in tower I have, and was not able to find one. I ended up shoe-horning in a second shank (very tight quarters, but it worked). It probably would have been easier to figure out how to mount a 3 in tower in its place.

Did you just drill another hole?

I have a Haier kegerator as well (it does fit 3 kegs albeit very tightly) and wanted a tower extension as well in order to add two more faucets. Unfortunately, I do not think that they exist. I ended up biting the bullet and springing for a 3 in triple tower. Good luck.

Yes, just used a 1 in step bit to bore out a 7/8 in hole, 90 degrees around from the original. Drilled a new set of holes in the base of the tower so I could rotate it 45 degrees and keep everything centered. It was a bit tight getting all the hardware attached, but it worked.

It's a very tight fit, but it can work with a 2.5 in tower. Granted, this one was made with pretty light-weight metal (easy to drill). If you look closely, you can just see the tops of the two copper tubes I jacketed the beer line with; they extend down into the kegerator to help keep the beer lines cool. But it was a bit of a logic puzzle figuring out how to get all the hardware attached and tightened down; very little room to work.

My kegerator came with a 2.5 inch tower. I couldn't find any extensions for that size. I don't think there is much room to add additional lines along with a tower cooler hose. I bought a 3 inch 3 tap tower and installed that in place of the original tower. It's a very tight fit to get all 3 lines and the tower cooler hose in there.
