Hello,

Going to keg this beer tomorrow. Just put my plastic carboy outside for a crash. It's 15F out and that's as low as it will get all night. Safe to do or should I bring it inside without delay?

I'd have done this in my FC but the carboy doesn't fit in there (bucket does but carboy height won't clear).

Thanks!

Put it in the fermentation chamber. Partially close the lid and find a way to cover the gap (shrink wrap, cardboard, etc) it's not ideal but you can be sure you won't wake up to frozen beer...

I did this for fermentation once without an issue, assume same thing with cold crashing a day or 2
