been lurking for a bit and love this forum.

brewed a couple of horrible batches years ago before quality/availability of ingredients was what it is now, plus my housemates were pretty lazy and ignorant. lots of sediment. tasted like dirt.

started up again about 2.5 months ago with a motivated and capable colleague. kits to finding recipes to partial mash/creating recipes to AG in rapid progression. 10 brewed. 4-5 ready to drink over wide range of styles with above average or better results so far.

i'd say this is the best damn hobby i've ever had, but seems like more than that. looking forward to sharing and learning from the good ppl here. peace

Hey Isabellajames, I too did some brewing some 15 or 16 years ago when all I could get my hands on was inferior ingredients and with little knowledge. I also just got the itch to brew again and started an Abbey ale last Friday. I found this forum just a few days ago and I agree it is a wealth of information and support.
