Left 2 mi before the road ends!
CT is not that big a state, and these two towns are 25 minutes appart. You have my Spike Kettle and I want it now.

The good thing is, It left OH on Sunday and in less than 12 hours it was in Willington CT. Ground times, thank you drivers for speeding!

Or it could simply be that their tracking system has no idea where the trucks are, then, Thanks GPS for messing with my mind!

A couple of weeks ago I placed two orders within an hour of each other, one from Pa. (morebeer) via FedEX and one from Chicago Il. (non brew related) via UPS. Both were boomerangs. I live it west central Iowa. one went to Lenexa Ks. then north to me, the other to Omaha Ne. then back north-east,,,,,? OK I'll give them some latitude but really? Des Moines Ia. might have been a more logical link choice in my mind but ,,OK, I got them both. Pa. to my door took less time than Chi. to the door by a day,,,?. Oh well it's their biz,, just makes ya wonder,,,just glad to get them.

I feel your pain, watch packages go right by my town to go 30min to another town to come back and go 15min to another town then out for delivery.
USPS always says they delivered stuff to my work, we have to go to the post office and ask them to go in the back and check even when they say its not there. then they come back out with the package and act surprised it was back there.

Yeah, I almost want to understand the logistics thing but I think it would make my head implode.
Waiting for a package from More Beer in Pa. Placed it Wednesday,, "shipped" Friday, FedEx got package Monday. It spent 24 hrs in Grove City Ohio. (must be a nice place to over night, it had already been on the road a hundred miles or so) and is currently touring the Kansas City area. (one stop on the east side (Missouri) then went to the Kansas side of the city. It's nice for FedEx to give my package a chance to see the sights of the area, I've two nieces that live there and they love it.
It's scheduled for Thursday delivery (west central Iowa) but will probably have to go to Sioux City first like the last time (not much to see there) and could/might make it on time.
Now it's not such a big deal,,,, hell yeah it is. I made an order a month ago, opted for the free shipping and it took less time. I paid for shipping this time thinking my LME and dry yeast would like a shorter trip because,, well I thought I paid for it. Nope, not happening.
Losing a little faith in MB/FedEx. (mostly FedEx)
Oh well, a little warm to be brewing till the cold front and rain rolls through Fri. night & Saturday. I hope the yeasties don't take it out on me and still gladly meet their demise,, drowning in wort,,, I really thought I was treating them right by paying for their trip.
This concludes my rant for the day. (I hope)

Cheers, :mug:
