This is the stout I just brewed 2.5 days after pitching the yeast. That brown clumpy stuff that's floating is grain that made it into my fermenter(first all grain). The krausen looked good yesterday and was getting pretty large but it also had the grain in it and now has settled down to a very thin layer on top of the brew. I mean it doesn't look like the infected pictures in person but I've notice all infected beers seem to looks like they're not fermenting like mine is.

Looks normal to me. If some grain got in you might notice some more tannins in the beer than you'd like, but you probably wont in a stout. Infections take more than 3 days to show up. RDWHAHB.

Look like blurry wort fermenting to beer to me. That grain will settle and you'll be able to rack off clean beer when it's all done.

I was thinking I might be overreacting but I wanted to be sure and do something about early as possible if I could, still trying to learn the ropes. It was just scary because my other beer didn't do this at all, it put krausen up the blow-off tube and did it for about 8 days.

Do yourself a favor and buy a large grain bag for $4.50, It'll save you a lot of headaches in managing your grains as you mash/lauter it, as well as prevent any husks from getting into your wort.
