Hi all,

I was given a couple of what I think are called "Thielmann" kegs by a friend.
It has a connection method I have never seen before.
I have done a bit of research on the googlewebs and I think it might be called an "S coupler".

By the way, these used to hold Heineken beer if that helps.

So, can anybody shed some light on this? These kegs look so good and the ones I have are flawless and clean on the outside. I would love to be able to use them! I was wondering, is there such a thing as a way to convert them to ball lock? Or perhaps it would be relatively easy to use them with the right kind of connector?

Thx!

Sanke refers to both the D style and S style valve on the top of the keg. D is the American Standard, while S is the European version. They are very similar, but not compatible with each other. https://www.probrewer.com/library/kegs/keg-systems/

That amazon link is exactly what you need!
Ok! I see... after some digging around, Thielmann is a company that makes Kegs. So they make, among other things, "Senke" kegs. The word "Thielmann" was prominently stamped into the keg. Sweet! I am ordering two couplers today! At $25 bucks each, it is not a burden.
