Walker, I was thinking about *really* humiliating you by requiring that your avatar be switched to one of those Tom Brady GQ glamour shots, but we never clarified whether we got to pick the loser's avatar, and quite frankly I don't feel like going to look for a good pic.

I guess you missed the Bear game last night. These boys are a WRECKING crew!

It's going to be a replay of the 85 Super Bowl - over before it starts. The only thing missing will be those silly unis with guy bending over on the helmet.

Just make sure you have something decent in the primary within the next month.

It's been so long since the Bears looked like a legit team, that it's tough to contain the excitement. I know they've won division titles recently, but those teams were obviously flawed.

And god knows, I need a distraction after a disappointing baseball season.

I'll admit, the Bears are for real. I still have some doubts though. It is a long season. Injuries will happen. If Grossman goes down, they are a completely different team.
And look who they've played. They played Seattle without the league MVP. I'd like to see a rematch.

As a true fan you have to stand behind your team even in the midst of imminent failure (ie. the Pats on their home turf). I can stand to part with some homebrew and as far as humiliation goes, I am a Lions fan (I'm used to it).

They're in as a wildcard, which would normally be great news. But they got swept by the worst team in the league and lost the division on the last day of play.

Nah, the Royals are just the worst team in the AL. The NL is just plain brutal these days. I think the Royals might have won a couple of those divisions - or at least contended.
