Ha! That was not me, but it was my table full of bottles that the guy knocked over. He then proceeded to go lay down in the grass and fall asleep behind the dumpster.

Those Freetail shares were so epic. I honestly have no idea how some of us didn't get killed or end up in jail - everyone was HAMMERED

That was hilarious. It was like that scene in Old School when Ferrell shoots himself in the neck with a tranquilizer gun and the scene goes all slow motion..."your crazy." A Taco Cabana run helped with the beer. Why didn't the police ever stop by?

Anyone have a pic of that guy behind the dumpster?

Eh, it's private property and they got no complaints. Also helped that most of the action was before opening and in the back, lol.
This. Despite the drunkness, no one really did anything warranting the dialing of 911...

Anyway, how was the PHP Jaguar Shark release? Did they have it on tap to try, or was it on tap before the release? I guess what I'm trying to get at is if the beer is good.

It's been on tap several times before... this was just the first time it was bottled.

I ended up getting a Fully Adrift, but they had it on Nitro for the release (along with the base beer on tap)

Thanks for the good beers yesterday AM.

Didn't dig the Fully Adrift...didn't have its fresh punch. Rye'd the Lightning and the Pilot IPAs were tasty.

Well if you change your mind 8 months down the road, the house will still be on the market. So you got that going for you.
She came down to within $1500. Good enough for me. Inspections are next. Anyone have or know of issues with sewer lines? House was built in '83 and will have it scoped with a camera. Just hoping there are issues.

Was in Lufkin over the weekend and spent a bunch of hours at Big Thicket Brewing.

Stout was decent.(on nitro)
Ipa was decent(on nitro)
Bluberry was decent
Raspberry was decent
Porter was decent.

Overall decent brewery with friendly staff, got pizza delivered there, played cards, and introduced my sister, daughter and wife to some decent beer. (wife not so much a beer gal, daughter more a beer gal than the other 2, sister not a beer gal at all)

and the Root beer was FANTASTIC.

overall a great time there, no waiting, no lines, not a ton of people. (wish there had been more actually, would like to see them have more stop ins)

The "to come" taplist sounded pretty fantastic as well. Hopefully as time goes on they will become great, over decent. But definitely cant complain.

Man this seller is loony tunes. I don't expect my counter offer to be accepted. Quick tip: if you've done zero work upgrading your house it's not going be equal to the comps sold ealier this month which were fully updated. And then you can't add the full value of the home repairs and upgrades you did a decade ago on top of that. Idiot.
Currently in the process of buying a house in Austin. Market is ******* insane. On market for 3 days...annddddd....its gone.

Things are starting to sit here awhile. We have an issue with the actual square footage of the property. I think we're going to walk on this property, sucks because it really is a unique home but the seller thinks it's plated in gold. Who knows, time is on our side, not hers. Found another house for much cheaper but needs updating. I don't mind sweat equity and it has a workshop. This could fit us better.

Just had Strange Lands Scotch ale, and its yet again, a fantastic beer.

This is my new favorite brewery, mostly because they've bucked the 10 ipa's trend. (and the beers are ******* outstanding)

We walked. Seller lowered the Sq ft by 76 and didn't change the asking price or our negotiated price. Thus pushing the $/Sq ft to we'll above what the comps supported. In the end she was asking roughly 10% more than newly remodeled homes for hers which had nothing new.

I loved the house but not going to let her take me behind the shed with a strapon. My hope is her company that's relocating her offers moving assistance. After her home doesn't sell they buy her out and put it on the market for a reasonable $. Maybe then. Not holding my breath.

I just need a house to brew in dammit.

im guessing you guys already heard about 12% imports hitting Texas soon....
I'm just waiting for all breweries to all to go sales. That'll be a turning point for the Texas beer industry. I can't think of too many 12%+ beers that are enjoyable which aren't classified as beetus.
