Don't sleep on Power & Light either. Really, really tasty. They are definitely improving

Yeah I never really thought much of Independence, but they have certainly turned things around in the past year or so. Red Bud is great, I also enjoy Power & Light and White Rabbit.

If anyone's interested, I saw six bottles of Weller 12 on the shelf at the Airport Spec's today. Hadn't seen that one anywhere around town in a long time.
Ton of weller 12 hit Houston a few weeks ago. It's probably still on shelves everywhere too

Has Wagner Bros gotten a C&D yet? I think I should probably tweet Warner Bros. and ask them about their new neighborhood bar concept.

Wow. You know there's at least a handful of people who have worked on their branding and yet no one has put a stop to what is obviously both copyright and trademark infringement.

From what I've heard the dude was like "I don't understand... my last name is Wagner... and I have a brother [not involved with the business]"

They sound like asshats. Probably a trust fund kid from Jersey behind it.

I emailed WB's legal office, with a link to that ****** bar. Never got any kind of response from them. Who knows, maybe tweeting it would be more direct.

And yeah, they argued vehemently that their logo looked nothing like the Warner Brothers logo. Apparently their Facebook page is gone, and a different group is running that trashhole now (still not open....)

Last time I was in Texas I picked up 12 bottles of BA Legion and haven't regretted a bit of it. How has the Inspiration?

Just FYI, if you're a Texan looking for Schramm's mead quality, grab this if you can find it. I like it more than the latest batch of Schramm's blackberry. Stupidly delicious. May even take a trip down to Seguin just to go to their tasting room

FYI they do have a member's club too. Maybe if I make some good scratch this year, I'll join their club like I did Schramm's.

We were at the Cedar Park farmer's market this saturday and Meridian Hive was slinging an insane amount of growlers and 500ml barrel/rare honey variants.

That mead game is so hot right now, tick it quick before the others take the whales away boys.

latest

But on a serious note, I had a Schwams Peach mead a good friend of mine sent me last year that was the tits. Only problem is that I was out of commission after having only one.

It's also far less regulated than beer thanks to the wine industry (at least in TX).

Wanna have it mailed to you directly? Sure!
Wanna buy it at a farmer's market? Why the **** not.
Direct sales at a taproom? Uh, duh.
