yall do realize that the percentage of the general population that takes the torrenting route you guys are talking about, right? or you're just intentionally being obtuse.

redbox makes ~$500millon per fiscal quarter. they've entered into the streaming arena with roku, whatever google sticks are called, ps3/xbox blah blah. they're physically ******* everywhere. to say you didn't know they still existed is a ******* irritating thing to say. either you're actually blind, a hermit, or being a pompous dick.

ease of redbox/netflix/streaming rentals have crippled the brick and mortar rental industry and physical dvd sales. the number of people torrenting movies versus bellying up to a redbox on the way out of kroger is, at a stretch, 1:30?

it's not really this particular instance that i get irritated by, it's the attitude.

No need for rustling. I also have Netflix, a Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu Plus and a PS4. And UVerse 450.

Yes, many more people still use Redbox than torrents because they don't know how to/don't feel comfortable using torrent sites. More people also drink Budweiser and Natty Light than craft beer, yet we know that craft beer is better, and something that we personally enjoy more. Ditto with torrents and not having my viewing dictated by when I need to drive to a tiny red box and slip a dvd back in it, or pay more than my 10 minutes to download Anchorman 2 (what a giant piece of ****). Not hating on the redbox's, just literally have not seen one in 6+ years, but then again I don't shop at Krogers, etc, so that would account for it. They disrupted the movie rental business, which was great. Now VPN, torrents, streaming, etc is disrupting it yet again. As Netflix proved, competition breeds benefits for consumers.

I also use Netflix, Hulu, my Xbox to view movies on Amazon, and HBO Go. I know the company exists, I just haven't seen a physical location in quite some time, so was being hyperbolic.

Can't we just go back to circle jerking about how great Jester King is now, please?

Just had SA Boiler Room at Billy's on burnet. Good tartness (once it gets to temp), pretty bland though. It's what I was (dumbly) hoping Snapshot would be; I was hoping it'd be a bit more like 1809 (more flavor).
Will get a bottle and experiment with blending.

I'm looking for someone from Texas that is going to be driving to Dark Lord Day this year. I'm not looking for a ride, I'm looking for transportation of a keg back to Texas.

I think I remember talking to some guys at Hunahpu day that were from Dallas/Austin? that said they would be driving there, but I don't remember their names.

Will make it worth your while.
