Im not holding my breath but southampton needs to throw a RIS release party. I miss the gathering of familiar faces and that long ass boring drive while everyone else is passed out in my vehicle.

How have the releases gone in the past? Just show up at the brewery on the right day?
Never even knew they brewed a RIS and BRL untill recently.

One of the smoothest and most enjoyable releases out there. If you don't mind freezing your nuts off that is. Release date announced ahead of time.

Just got back from WF Tribeca and there was nothing there yet. I know last year, LI got it maybe a week or so after the city. There was, of course, Bourbon Barrel aged Biscotti Break for me to rack up an unexpected charge on my credit card

I recall in the promotion for the first time that Morrison`s did this, there was a $10 admission fee, which included appetizers. Is that structure the same for this one in a couple days ?

not sure, but what i can tell you is that last one i went to, there was no charge...pretty sure some appetizers were on the bar for public, but i ordered dinner anyway so didn't investigate too much if the food was public of someone's order.

either way, i'd bring a few bucks just in case...but there was no mention of a door charge or apps...i highly recommend getting your dinner there...the food is fantastic!

Stopped by Barrier for the first time today. A couple of dipas were on including daddy w. Cool place with killer prices: free! flights and any beer on tap is $3-$4 per 10oz. Picked up one of each of the 4 bottles available at the brewery. Will definitely be back.

Anyone ever get a final word on Backyard Rye in LI? Is it only hitting the few places it popped up in the city? My local guy says he has gotten no definitive info from his rep.
