I may be the only person who heavily prefers the drie fonteinen gueuze that wasn't brewed by them over A&G. I hear so much hype over it and, while it's good, it isn't as good as the regular bottling.
It's been a while since I've had regular OG, but we opened the last batch of A&G at Zwanze and largely thought it was one of the best beers of the whole event.

Cantillon may have all the sex appeal, but when it comes to nonfruited lambic, I think Drie easily takes the crown.

Hey Traverse city, that is where Sara is from

That is all i have for input.
My sister has at least one more year of grad school at Western, which is really the driving point for my love of Bell’s....sounds like we need a vacation to Ferndale and where ever khuhhhnnnehnnhnhnhn is

I love going to Bell's when in K-zoo, such a cool space.

My parents do own a 5 cabin in northern Michigan near Short's...maybe a getaway bottleshare is in order.

Agreed that Drie decimates all in the nonfruited lambic category. I don't know how you would place A&G above A&T but since they are both damn delicious I guess it doesn't matter much.

A&T was incredible from a lineage/legacy perspective, but I think judging both on flavor profile and whatnot, A&G definitely ticked all the boxes for me. A&T had that incredible funk that let you know you were drinking something special, but it had too much of a briny backbone for me to completely fall in love with it.

I have spent so much money on bottles this week (and have a line on a few more). Why all this madness landing this week?!

Same. **** almost burned through my DEC beer budget day 2

Budget?
