Moksa has also brought on brewer Cory Meyerfrom popular Sacramento interest New Glory Craft Brewery. He and Gallanosa will put their heads together to determine what styles they will brew. So far they know they will craft India pale ales similar to the mixture of West-Coast and hazy IPAs Gallanosa made at Abnormal. Rich stouts with adjuncts will also figure in along with barrel-aged imperial stouts, but the sky is the limit outside of those staples.
Who?Used to be Butchers Brewing.

Dear Beer Lovers and Whiskey Freaks,
Over the last few years, Seven Grand San Diego has bought quite a few barrels of whiskey. Those barrels have been passed out to the rich and vibrant brewing community in and around San Diego. We will be pairing 8 different barrel aged beers with 8 single barrel whiskies that have shared their barrel with one of the below breweries.
Chuck Alek - Ramona - Russel's Reserve Rye Barrel
Modern Times - Point Loma - Markers Mark Private Select Barrel
Modern Times - Point Loma - Buffalo Trace Barrel
Mike Hess Brewing - North Park - Eagle Rare Barrel
Second Chance Brewing - Carmel Mountain - Four Roses Barrel
Little Miss Brewing - Miramar- Knob Creek Barrel
North Park Beer Company - North Park - Elijah Craig Barrel
Mikkeller - Miramar - Four Roses Barrel
Seven Grand will be offering tasting sized portions for $10 per tasting (.75 oz of Single Barrel Whiskey & 5oz of Barrel Aged Beer)
Please join us for a conversation about whiskey, brewing, barrel aging, and beer in Seven Grand's whiskey appreciation room, Bar Three Piece.
Above and beyond the revelry in the front bar we'd like to invite 60 people into Bar Three Piece on November 9th at 7pm. The tasting will cost $40 per person.
We thought this would be a great opportunity to give the brewers and barrel managers an opportunity to talk with you. They will be discussing the barrel aging process, their beer, and their breweries. All while sipping on the complete 8 beer, 8 whiskey line up. This will be a seated event for 60 people and as always you will be greeted with an ice cold refreshing beverage!
In collaboration with breweries and distilleries we are bringing in our friends at Tribute Pizza to share food with everyone.
You just need to RSVP - and then pay at the door.Wait so is the registration link for the full tasting? Confused since it didn't ask me to pay yet.

That's what happened last time, and I stumbled home to almost puke on my daughter while putting her to bed.
