Hmmm? They didn't mention anything last friday, must be higher up decisions that the TR staff isn't told.

This is more Production side. Some changes, you all will soon find out. Not a bad thing, a good thing. I don't want to take too much away from all that are involved, you will all know very soon.

I feel like the paragraphs were printed out of order in that article. It starts by going on and on about the guy leaving Little Miss and how he "was actually looking forward to a little bit of down time," but who would care about that unless you're the brewer or one of his family members? Then at the very end, oh by the way, Mikkeller has severed ties with AleSmith and AleSmith was pissed off about it?

The article says Lisica is their third head brewer but doesn't say who followed Bill Batten in the role. Solid journalism as usual...
Article buries the actual announcement in the middle of the rambly-as-**** second paragraph too. For someone who does marketing (and presumably some PR) on a professional level, this is just stupid.

I'd rather get personnel announcements from tweets than these atrocious articles.

So the news worthy event was someone getting a new gig? Cool? I truly hope the best for him and what not, but why is that worthy or an article/write-up yet the separation between Mikkeller and Alesmith which resulted in Alesmith throwing all of Mikkeller's stuff outside like after a bad breakup only gets a brief mention at the very end.

Also, there obviously seems to be some tension between the staff and Mikkeller, not only with how they seem to be flying through brewers/staff, but also with the comment:

Back at Mikkeller San Diego, the company maintains a cult following, but appears to be struggling with the inherent difficulties of having an owner that spends the majority of his time away from the business while guiding brewery decisions from afar.

That sounds more interesting and news worthy.

At least tweets have an excuse for missing information and poor editing. If I can spot errors skimming a story on my phone while drinking beer, a professional should probably be able to spot them as well before they post the story.

Yeah, always weird vibes coming out of that place. Communication issues are rampant, nobody ever seems to be on the same page, etc. Just does not give the impression that it's a well-oiled machine. At this point if I had the option to "opt out" of the remaining membership year for a partial refund, I'd very strongly be considering it.

Ha, and we only hit the halfway mark.

It is a tad upsetting though, I do like the individuals behind the bar.

Yes, my remarks have nothing to do with the servers. They're always friendly and accommodating. Sucks (for them) that they end up being the front line in this mess. Make any comments about anything in the FB group and you get someone from the other side of the planet saying "things getting better soon!"

Given I’ve greatly enjoyed Mikkeller’s beers far more than Little Miss’ beers, sounds like terrible news to me.
