Great movie. It had the classic Alien building suspense and great story. It made me want to 1) re-watch Prometheus, 2) re-watch Covenant, 3) binge on Alien/Aliens/etc, and read the synopsis of all them from someone who can dissect it much better than I can!

It's been way too long since I've had the Pupil. It was as delicious as ever!

Clear and Present Dankness is a banger. I don't know what to tell those that are complaining about its "lack of haze."

Clear and Present reminds me very much of Celly beers. Glad I bought like a flat and a half :)

I'll make it easy so you can copy paste.

The words clear and dankness are on the label. It is a collab with Cellarmaker, so really, you can all go **** yourselves with a pointy stick. =)

No one here was complaining, so I was trying to be diplomatic, ha.

Oh I know, ok...I'll clean it up a bit.

Ok Sorry if this out of left field, but I'm going to get rid of my garage beer fridge. If anyone wants it, it's free but you have to supply the labor and pick it up this weekend preferably, otherwise I'm going to donate it or junk it, whatever is more convenient for me. I'm going to downgrade to something a lot smaller, but wife won't let me buy it until this one goes first.

It's a commercial merchandising refrigerator. It's a True GDM-47-LD manufactured around 1999. Holds maybe 500+ beers. It's deep enough to store kegs on their side if you need to (I used to have my bourbon county kegs cellared in this thing). It does need a freon recharge though. Right now it'll only bring beers down to like 60 degrees. Even without the freon recharge still probably better than most of your California closet cellars :)

Dimensions you can probably google online. It weighs over 400 lbs empty though, so you need a truck, a lot of straps, and a couple friends. I live in La Jolla / UTC area if it matters.

I have it unplugged and airing out now.

Here's a pic.

I'll throw in a few free beers if you want as well. Not like I have space for them after getting rid of this anyways. If you need to know the history I bought this from a convenience store that was upgrading to a walk-in back in 2010. That's why all the random Nantucket Nectar stickers on it. Also, the light behind the marquee is busted. If you're handy I'm sure you can get it working again. True refrigerators are ubiquitous. Parts and schematics are easy to find.
Is this still available? Seriously considering driving down tomorrow for this.

Yeah, dem old Nelson feels. We all have them :(

And then they were gone ...

Visiting by brother this weekend in CO. We plan on watching Prometheus the first night i am in town, then seeing Covenant the next night.

that chez..... *sniff* so few bottles left in the wild and the only ones I know about in San Diego ppl are trying to profit off of them instead of drink them with friends. =(

I have 1 bottle of Chez left and I'm opening it tomorrow with my family because my sister is getting proposed to. Her soon-to-be-fiancé has mentioned it to me off-hand for awhile so this seems like a good occasion to drink it.

Does anybody find it suspect that Tool box's latest release (concord) is supposedly this special blend that's aged for over a year, but is only priced at $15 for a 750? If I recall correctly, they have never released a bottle this cheap before. I believe it's cheaper than most of their 500 mL bottles. This beer can't be that good if the brewery thinks it's worth less than every other release, even if it's been aged for a long time. Not saying price is everything, but it's got me thinking....

Noble ale works was cool. Wanted to take home some nobility but a growler is too much. Their hazy ipa was meh but everything else was on point. Can you reuse crowlers beyond their original spot?
