Does Electric Brewing distribute anywhere closer to San Diego, if at all? Feel like I've been hearing more and more about them and their beers look/sound good. Curious to try them out, but not curious enough to drive to Temecula for it.
Seems like Ale Tales in Linda Vista (?) brings some down from time to time. Can’t tell if it’s legit distro or not though.

Got some sneak peaks of upcoming Belching Beaver sours last night. The cherry one is excellent with a good amount of spontaneous beer in the mix. davemont can back me up on that. Those barrels Peter has are really starting to mature. Sorry you missed out on that one smithj2154 but you know who to get some from.

If you guys still have Toolbox beers in the cellar, drink them up although some are still holding up very nicely.

Yes bummed I didn't stick around for that part but saved me a LYFT ride home so had to do it. And yes I'm sure I'll try some soon enough ;)

Their stuff is legit. We've been bringing in their beer (NorCal) for about 6 months now. They're only a few blocks from Ironfire, which would make the trip a little easier to swallow. If not, pick them up if you see some cans around where you live.

After living in S.D. for 6 years prior to moving to S.F., Rip Current is on the top of my list of places to visit for when I’m back down for a conference. I've always enjoyed their beers, but for one reason or another, just never made a point to stop-by when I lived downtown. Now that I'm a tourist, I plan to wander up and down 30th, ha.

Also on the list:
-Modern Times (TOLC fanboy)
-NPBC - I've been there a few times, but I've never been blown away. Now that they've been open for longer, I'm ready to give them another go!

Seems that “that” happened quite a while ago. Makes me think something new surfaced... or maybe it really is just that someone googled his name for the first time in 14 years.
Dude, I don't care if it happened 20 years ago - that **** is truly despicable, and I'm surprised nobody dug all that up sooner, especially considering some of the decent coverage that podcast got.

I certainly can't/won't argue with that. My point was that in this day and age, it is pretty surprising that it would just now be coming to light considering it's the third result when searching.

Right?

Maybe it did come up and there was some forgiveness on the part of the other hosts, but I can't imagine they didn't already know about it.

So ION, BA All of the Lights has been for sale and took about 25minutes to sell out.

Also, Monster Tones is still ******* delicious.

Can someone "unfacebook" this story for those of us that don't go on there? I have no idea what anyone is talking about. Tell me a story.

No.

Edited to add: I’ll msg you directly.

PM'd. I'm just not sure what protocol is with this sort of thing and what should/shouldn't be shared "publicly", despite what we're talking about being public information.

Not sure why no one wants to just list this out, it's 2 clicks away. Apparently, some dude Greg from sd beer talk is a registered sex offender for CP, and the other people at sd beer talk either just figured that out or something new happened and they're distancing themselves immediately.

Was that so hard to describe?

I'm wondering if they produced more of it than the other BA beers or if the price is finally turning people off. I'll admit I bought one, but it was simply as a favor for a friend of a friend that's out of state - I'm not especially price sensitive, but $24 for 375ml is pretty absurd.

Their IG post indicates that they had a "significantly higher amount available", so, yeah.

Mikkeller's "X" cans pushed this price point as well recently, IIRC. The price of beer is too damn high.
