Alright, I had a chance to try out my little Brew. I followed a recipe for the most part but made a few additions.
3.3 lbs of extra light malt extract
2 lbs of rice syrup
There was a bag of crushed grain but it wasn't named in the pack
1.5 oz of hop pellets
I added 2 lbs of honey at the last 10 minutes of the boil and some raspberries in the secondary.
Now for the raspberries I reduced them. I took 2.5 lbs added a little water to cover the bottom of the pan to help prevent burning and adding a cup of sugar. I took the reduction and added it to my secondary and then transfered my beer on top of it.
The beer came out great! It's got a real kick to it, and there is a hint of raspberry to it, the tartness of the berries really shine through though and it lends different sort of citrus taste to it. So all in all I'm happy with it!
Next time though I'll take all of you wiser brewers advice and use whole fruit in the secondary and leave them till they turn white.
