the dot-matrix printing on stainless plumping supplies

so a few of the locknuts, couplers and elbows have the words china and some other stuff written in what looks like dot-matrix ink on them.

should i try to get this off before i use them? how would i go about doing that?

try a soak in Oxiclean or equivalent...should do the trick. It's probably not a big deal considering the minuscule amount, but it wouldn't hurt to take it off.
