As I sit here enjoying the fruits of my brewing labors (a pumpkin ale, just a bit late for Thanksgiving, but whatever it's fantastic), I thought I would make my first post a thank you to this community for helping me figure out this whole brewing thing. Since April, I've brewed 5 beers, and with only one exception, they have been amazing. Every question that has ever been asked is probably on this site, and learning from everyone else's issues has definitely made it easier for me.

While I'll probably have to take a break from the hobby for the next year (unless anyone knows a good LHBS in Tokyo), I'll be keeping up with the craft through this really excellent community.

Moving for work purposes. My company (shameless plug alert Gilt Groupe) has an affiliate in Japan so I'm heading out there for a year to help them out.

Thanks for the link weirdboy... best news I've heard all day. Maybe I'll have to make room for my equipment after all.
