I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on the forums that posts such great advice. Over the past month or so I've been trolling around the site and getting great info that has helped me "iron out" so many of the kinks I have encountered in home brewing.

As I sit here typing, I am dreaming about trying my second batch that I just kegged today. Things sure would have been much more difficult if it weren't for the great advice I found here.

Thanks again! :mug:

this place has made my beers so much better.
i enjoy the people very much as well.
glad this forum helped you.

The cool part of this forum over other forums, is that all the guys and gals here are more down to earth, friendly, and want to help share their experience and knowledge. There are no so called "experts" or "masters" here who because they have been brewing longer, think that anything they do is fact and the only way to go.

Instead, there are people here who care about new brewers, newbies to the forum, and just about anyone else. From time to time a "troll" does come around, but are weeded out quickly. I love this forum. Ive been a member here for over two years, and am on here daily to see what everyone is coming up with, from recipes, new twists on old hardware, labels, and a few laughs as well.

So, for myself, Im glad this forum is here, and thank all who are a part of it!

I feel the same.:tank:

I have had the pleasure of spending a fair bit of time on here on a few occasions over the last couple of years. That is about to drastically reduce though.

Speak for yourself! :D

In all honesty, you're right on. There have been a few banned marine friends that might disagree with that, but that's why they're banned. :D

Nah.

I've just had the pleasure of working part time and travelling for the last couple of years. Plenty of time at home and stuff. I'm back into the rat race as from the morning. I'll still be on most days but I won't have the hours of spare time I had. I ain't going anywhere but will have less time due to work. The time I do have will have to be spread between my other commitments.
The good news is I don't have TV or read news papers so no time wasted on that crap.
I do have a SWMBO, dogs, an allotment, family friends, beer to make and consume, shopping, DIY, cooking and all the usual stuff to deal with. I'm gonna try and keep up the 4x4, quad and paintball instructing stuff though.
I have no trips planned for a while. I need to take SWMBO on a couple of vacations first. I hope to visit the States in Autumn. At lease I get 32 days a year leave at the new place.

I don't know if I've contributed to your brewing suces, but you're welcome.

Orfy: I'm certain EVERYONE here would like to get your US itinerary...as we may be on your route and you can drink your way across the States...:D...don't forget a note book and a camera so you can scrapbook your brewing notes and people you've visited...(just a thought)...
