I just ordered the therminator and a hop rocket. I am hoping they will improve my already awesome beer and slightly shorten my brew day.
I also bought some polysulphone quick disconnects. Those bad boys are expensive! I spent over a bill on them alone. I forgot to order some grain. Doh!

I plan on using the rocket to filter out the wort after the boil. I will gravity feed the wort through the rocket and into the March pump until she is primed. Then I will pump the hot wort through the therminator and into the fermenter.
I really hope it was worth the coin.

Anyone else use this type of setup?
Pros and cons?

I was disappointed with my plate chiller. I use a 50' immersion chiller and it does good. I was expecting a big difference when I tossed out the money for a 40 plate chiller and wort pump with all the bells and whistles. It did not justify the cost, FWIW...
I went back to the immersion. It is easier than hooking up all the gear for the plate and easier to clean.

I havnt used it yet, but I am excited to try it out. For me it is going to be pretty uch the same as the immmersion chiller.
Did you get the therminator from Blichman or just a 40 plate chiller generic?
