Temp Controller prob length

Hi all, i have recently purchased a Kegking temp controller (similar to the STC-1000) Info here http://kegking.com.au/mkii-10-30amp-temperature-controller-heat-cool.html


I have found the probe wire length to be a little shorter than i need, i have read with the STC-1000 you can extend the length of the wire by adding to the existing wire.

But the Kegking version uses a 50k ohm probe and not a 10k ohm probe like the STC-1000

Does this make a difference or should i be able to extend the prob without issue?

Yes, you can extend the wire without any problems.
