Because of cardiac problems, I have many questions.. -- This time it's regarding tea. In reading about many benefits of tea, I wonder about using more tea in the mix than what most of the recipes call for. Health wise, would this be beneficial? It appears like using the equivalent of two or three bags for every glass I drink would be worth thinking about. What are some thoughts and thinking along this path? Anybody brewing for heart health?

There is no real scientific data out there that says kombucha is good for the heart. (It is all maybe as of now) More tea would mean stronger starter tea with a darker colour. The polyphenolic compounds in tea are the food for your kombucha culture to eat.
