My draught has only been in the Primary five days and the temperature had dropped to 66.2 the last two days which I thought might be a bit low for the yeast so I took a hydrometer sample to see if the bulk of fermenting had finished... it's reading 1010 (OG 1040) so I think it's going to be ok to sit at 66.2... do you think so?
I tasted it and there's nothing unpleasant in there... no nasty surprises...
I also took a reading from my lager that has been in the Primary eight days... that is at 1008 and tastes fine too. Still cloudy (of course)... can't believe those crappy instructions that say to bottle after 4-7 days.... grrr.... glad I'm waiting!
