Tamale Pot

Does anyone have any experience using the cheap wal mart tamale pots as a kettle. I am going to convert a keg as soon as i can track one down but in the mean time i need a bigger brew pot and that seems like the cheapest route.

What are you using now? If the new pot is bigger, I say roll with it...

Works great. You'll need to boil water in it for an hour to oxidize the aluminum. And, if you plan on doing 5.5 gallon batches, you'll need to keep a spray bottle handy for boil overs, but it's definitely worth every penny.
